The BorneoWild Glass Flow Pipe filter outlet transports water from an external filter to the aquarium. Borneo Wild's unique outlet design rapidly flows water throughout the aquarium. As a result, the glass flow pipe circulates water to multiple depths spanning a wider range in the water column. This improves water circulation and prevents "dead spots" in the aquarium.
The Borneo Wild Glass Flow Pipe filter outlet features a narrow arc for the most attractive mounting on rimless aquariums. The thick glass construction is durable, but care should be taken when cleaning and installing the outlet pipe to prevent breakage.
Usage Instructions:
1. Position the Glass Flow Pipe filter outlet where desired.
2 Prepare the hose with a suitable length from the glass outlet pipe to the filter. Remember to leave some slack for adjustment purposes.
3 Connect the hose to the filter first to prevent accidental pulling on the outlet pipe.
4 Before fitting the hose to the pipe, dip the hose in hot water and wet the connection tip of the glass outlet pipe for an easy installation.
5. Press the suction cup of the outlet pipe against the tank wall for a secure fitting. 6. You are now ready to turn on the filter.
To clean the inside of the glass outlet pipe:
1. Prepare a 1:1 mixture of bleach to water.
2. Soak the glass pipe in the mixture for 24hours or longer depending on the amount of algae grown.
3. Rinse several times with clean running water before connecting back to the aquarium.
To clean the exterior of the glass outlet pipe, simply wipe it with a damp cloth or a softer algae pad.
