	BorneoWild Bacter Crystal is a substrate additive and water conditioner which improves soil condition, water quality, health and growth of shrimp, plants, and fish. It also colonizes the filter system with beneficial bacteria. Unlike many other products which contain many species of dormant bacteria that may not get fully activated, Borneo Wild Bacter Crystal uses only species which can survive in packaging, storage and be activated fully. Borneo Wild Bacter Crystal substrate system contains an extremely high concentration of bacteria in dormant state. When laid beneath the substrate, Bacter Crystal substrate system forms a microorganism layer which prevents the growth of anaerobic species that cause smelly and blackened substrate. This allows aquatic plants to develop their roots properly and thus, grow healthily. Bacter Crystal accelerates organic decomposition in the substrate and supplies enzymes which activate the growth of other beneficial bacteria in the filter. Bacter Crystal is also able to remove organic C, NH3, NH4, NO2 and even NO3 in the substrate and water column, which few other species of bacillus are able to achieve. BorneoWild Bacter Crystal substrate system also contains a rich dose of natural, health improving, water polishing and conditioning additive which is made up of more then 90% calcium montomorillonite clay. The addition of montomorillonite also allows Bacter Crystal to work in 2 ways: adsorption and absorption. Being negatively charged (-ve), Borneo Wild Bacter Crystal substrate system attracts and binds with positively charged (+ve) matter like a magnet, including bacteria, toxins, wastes, chlorine, heavy metals, ammonium and other contaminants in the substrate and water column. The clay particles expand while absorbing these sustances and eventually become 'filterable', which effectively detoxifies and polishes the water and substrate at the same time. Apart from these benefits, Bacter Crystal also releases many essential minerals into the substrate and water column that benefit organisms, aiding in their digestion, growth and resistance to diseases. Using Bacter Crystal: 1) Use in New Planted Aquarium Set Up Apply Bacter Crystal evenly to the base layer of the tank before adding substrate. Use 1 bottle for a 90cm aquarium. You can also add 2g of Bacter Crystal per 100L as a strong bio-starter, either into the filter/sump or directly into the water. 2) Use in Aquarium / Pond Maintenance Add about 1g of Bacter Crystal per 100-200L of water weekly.
