 |  Mosura TDS Up is formulated to safely increase the TDS of water by restoring the minerals in water that are beneficial in your shrimp tank. It is does not increase GH (general hardness) and has a slight acidic property which is highly suitable to be used in shrimp (crystal red shrimp, red bee shrimps, king kong shrimps, wine red shrimps and many other species of shrimp) tanks that are required to be maintained in acidic water range. This product is not recommended for use with shrimp that require alkaline conditions, such as the various Sulawesi species. For Sulawesi shrimp, we recommend using a product that is specially formulated to meet their specific needs, such as SaltyShrimp Sulawesi Mineral 7.5. This product is highly recommended to use in conjunction with Mineral Plus Ultra to restore tap water, reverse osmosis water and distilled water in order to reach a desired GH and TDS level. A general hardness level of 4 dH and a TDS of 150 to 200ppm is recommended red bee shrimp. A higher TDS is needed for the shrimp of the neocaridina genus. Adjust gH first and then modify TDS/conductivity. To measure TDS, we recommend a TDS meter, such as those offered by Milwaukee Instruments. | ||||
